I received my paternal grandfather's birth certificate today!
Robert W. Smith's parents:
Wilbur E. Smith - born in Addison, Vermont
Anna McEvila - born in Addison, Vermont
Now all I have to do is wait for Elizabeth Rivait's to come but that may take a very long time because it was a request to the state instead of sending it off to a local town clerk.
I've been told that a lot of town clerks can only give out certified copies so sending out ten bucks a pop gets expensive.
