Sending a request to the church.
I wrote a letter for the church that sent me the baptism record on my grandmother, Elizabeth Rivait. I decided to ask for their help in case Anna Raymo/Raymond ever registered information about herself such as her parents - as well as any information on Stephen Rivait too.

Digging up Lawrence Hayes....
Hmm... I'm still not getting anywhere all that much. My latest information is:
1870 - Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont
(neighbor's house)
HAYE, Mary - 18 - Vermont
HAYE, Clarence - 46 - Ireland
HAYE, Mary - 45 - Ireland
HAYE, Thomas - 30 - Vermont
HAYE, Lawrence - 10 - Vermont
1880 - Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont (Broken Image)
HAYES, Lawrence - Abt 1824 - Ireland - HEAD
HAYES, Mary - Abt 1825 - Ireland - Wife
HAYES, Mary - Abt 1854 - Vermont - Daughter
HAYES, Lawrence - Abt 1861 - Vermont - Son
1900 - Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont
HAYES, Lawrence - HEAD - July 1820 - 79 - Ireland - Immigrated 1845
HAYES, Mary - Daughter - October 1853 - 46 - Vermont
HAYES, Margaret E. - Daughter - May 1855 - 45 - Vermont
HAYES, Mabel M. - Granddaughter - May 1899 - 9 - Vermont
HAYES, John W. - Grandson - December 1891 - 8 - Vermont
I keep reporting the 1880 census as broken but Ancestry hasn't done anything about it. I find it interesting that the name was Clarence in the 1870 census. I wonder if that explains why Lawrence wasn't named as Jr.

Lawrence L. Hayes & Jennie Mae Duprey
I'm doing some searching on ancestry.com for more information on Lawrence L. Hayes and Jennie Mae Duprey.
One thing I've noticed is that the Hayes family seems to have stayed in Chittenden County, Vermont for a majority of the time.
I'm trying to figure out if James Edward Hayes was counted twice in the 1920 census.
1920 - Williston, Chittenden County, Vermont
dated: January 7, 8, 9, 1920
HAYS, Margaret E. - HEAD - 64
HAYS, James - Nephew - 17
1920 - Shelburne, Chittenden County, Vermont
dated: February 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 1920
HAYES, Lawrence L. - HEAD - 60
HAYES, Jennie M. - Wife - 44
HAYES, John W. - Son - 28
HAYES, Thomas L. - Son - 24
HAYES, William R. - Son - 20
HAYES, James E. - Son - 18
HAYES, Stephen R. - Son - 15 -
HAYES, Ruth M. - Daughter - 10 -
CILBRITH, Ethel M. - Granddaughter - 1 6/12
COCKLE, Charles - Uncle - 66
I'm thinking James moved back into his parents' home after January's census but before February's census. I'll have to scrape together the censuses that shows how Margaret is sister to Lawrence.

Charles E. Patino/Patenaude
I'm not sure if Patino/Patenaude is a possibly family name yet.
I keep looking at the 1900 census on Does anyone know Anna Raymo? and I can't help but wonder... There's a very real chance that this Charles Patino is one of my grandfathers further in the line.
It means that Anna Raymo's mother was a Patino. Problem is, I can't find out who Charles Patino's children were. There was a woman posting information she had about one of Charles' children - Frank - but that's all I have to go on. I tried looking up censuses but I'm sure the others are in Canada and I have no way of verifying anything from Canada.
I am ready to believe that this Anna Raymo on the 1900 census is my great grandmother because of how it lists her father as born in France.

Two more requests...
I made out two more requests today. One for Linda Derouchie's death certificate - in hopes of trying to find out where she is buried. The other is for a marriage certificate of my paternal grandparents, Robert Smith & Elizabeth Rivait.

Elizabeth Marie Rivait - Score!
It turns out St Peter's Church in Vergennes, Vermont had a record!
-----
CERTIFICATE OF BAPTISM
This is to certify that Elizabeth Marie, Child of Stephen Rivet and Rose Anna Raymond, born in Vergennes, Vt on the 7th day of May 1917 was baptized on the 3rd day of June 1917.
-----
That's interesting to find about Anna Raymo though... Everyone referred to her as Anna and I assumed it was her nickname for Rosanna but if her name really was Rose Anna... Hmm...
