I'm going to have to figure out how the puzzle pieces work.
A birth registration came today from the Addison town clerk. It's for a male named Carie Rivit that was born October 18, 1876. His parents are Julius and Josephine (Moro) Rivit. Julius was born in Canada and Josephine was born in Fort Ann, New York.
Stephen J Rivait's tombstone says he was born 1876.
There's an 1880 census of Waltham, Addison County, Vermont that lists Stephen as 4 years of age.
I think it's safe to say that his original name was Carie before his parents changed it to Stephen before 1880. I'm still debating on whether or not using it on the site... but the parents are there and all. I guess I'll just have to pop it in as an interesting factoid.
As for what his middle initial could mean, I'm not sure. I was told that it was for Joseph but an Uncle came out of the blue and said it is for Julius.

Updated Site
Got the site updated with some new information. I felt overwhelmed at first but once I looked over the family tree and remembered a lot of things, the update kinda went smoothly. I got most of the new stuff up. I'll still be updating, I'm sure... hehe.

Site needs serious overhaul...
You know, the site may have worked for me at one time but as I fill in information, I'm finding that I seriously want to fix it up and make it look better. The KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) theme is really cluttering up some stuff...
I'd feel better if I had a domain url and be able to thrust everything into one spot instead of spreading everything out and whatnot. This is tough. Hmm...

Found the Person who wrote out Partenais
I didn't think it was possible but I found the person who wrote out "Descendants of Joseph Partenais dit Partenay". I found one of her posts and contacted her to see what other information she had. She ended up sending me the very file I already had! She's been an extremely big help in finding stuff that I think would've taken me years to ever find.
This means I need to stop slacking off and finally update the website with new information. I have discovered that the censuses I've been uploading to an image hosting site is funky. If I try to visit the full view, I get an error saying the image doesn't exist - yet if I log in, all the images are still there.
One of these days, I'll have to register a domain url and get all of this hosted on one site but I don't have the extra money for it seeing as how prices are going up for everything.
I guess I'll be updating the site on my computer and try to get it all uploaded later.

More into Patino, Patineau, Patnode, etc...
I recently got a file from a member at ancestry.com. Unfortunately, she lost the contact information of whoever it was that sent the file to her. Whoever wrote up the file was a descendant of Frank Patnaud and Nellie Barton.
The reason I wanted the information was to find out more information on Anna Raymo's mother, Delia/Delema, and her parents, Charles and Margaret.
I have no idea how accurate all of this information is but they did try to list sources. The name of the file is "Descendants of Joseph Partenais dit Partenay" but zooming in on what I'm most curious about...
Brief version from the file:
Charles Partenais
B: March 1839 - Canada
Married Margaret Couto on February 20, 1860 in in St. Alphonse Rodrique, Joliette, Quebec, Canada.
Margaret Couto
B: July 01, 1834 - Canada
D: November 12, 1908 - New Haven, Addison, Vermont, USA
Bur: Middlebury Catholic Cemetery
Children of Charles and Margaret:
1. Joseph Alphonse Partenais
b. November 26, 1860
d. November 28, 1860
2. Joseph Ochance Partenais
bapt: November 26, 1860
bur: November 29, 1860
3. Clifford Patno
b. March 03, 1863
4. Rose De Lima Partenais
b. January 31, 1865, St. Alphonse Rodrique, Joliette, Quebec, Canada
d. Before 1900
5. Euclide Partenais
b. October 07, 1871
6. Frank C. Patnaud
b. September 1875
7. Flora Patino
b. Abt. 1878
m. ADELOR CYR, September 23, 1901, Panton, Vermont, USA
---
Another mentioning of Adelor/Adelord. Interesting!
Now a blatant copy from the file about Delema/Delia:
---
6. ROSE DE LIMA PARTENAIS (CHARLES, CHARLES, JOSEPH PARTENAIS DIT PARTENAY) was born January 31, 1865 in St. Alphonse Rodrique, Joliette, Quebec, CANADA, and died Bef. 1900. She married RAINES.
More About ROSE DE LIMA PARTENAIS:
Baptism: February 01, 1865, St. Alphonse Rodrique, Joliette, Quebec, CANADA
Godparents: Joseph Brousseau, Celina Couto
Child of ROSE PARTENAIS and RAINES is:
i. ANNA RAINES, b. December 1885, Vermont, USA.
---
According to Census info, they listed Anna Raymo as "Anna Raines".
I wish I knew who wrote the file so that I can contact them about the 'Raines' really being Raymo/Raymond. If it is true that Delema's first name is Rose, it'd explain why everyone called her daughter as Anna even though her full name is "Rose Anna".
The reason I wanted the information was to find out more information on Anna Raymo's mother, Delia/Delema, and her parents, Charles and Margaret.

Patino is a confirmed family name.
I'm still waiting on the SS-5. I got a little bit impatient and went on Google to see if anyone made a similar complaint. Apparently it takes around five to six months before a response comes. Eesh. Now that I know that is common, I will have to let the SS-5 surprise me down the road out of the blue.
I have been chatting with a guy over on ancestry.com and he has been extremely helpful! I can't even believe that he works with my cousin. The world just seems smaller by the minute!
He sent me two scanned documents that confirmed quite a bit of information. The first is a marriage certificate.

I wonder why it took so long for a birth in 1888 to be reported in 1944. That's pretty interesting. I know Cyr may be a family name but I have to figure out how it fits into the tree. Cyr has been mentioned quite a few times around Patino/Patenaude/Patineau.
Now I have to figure out if its Delia or Delema. This is so exciting! I'm so glad I clung onto the census about Rose Anna and her grandfather, Charles Patino.
